The sculptural objects in Marchanta’s signature series are crafted from natural materials responsibly sourced in the Dominican Republic, including wood, marble, coralina, and concrete. Each piece is created through an innovative process marrying technology and handcrafting, and lovingly finished by hand by seasonal artisans.

This edition pays tribute to the beauty that makes the Caribbean one of the most exotic destinations in the world. The wide range of hues found in the sands of Caribbean islands, such as the pink sands in Barbados, the black sand on the island of Santa Lucia or the cream tones from sands on the beaches of the Dominican Republic, are the main source of inspiration behind this edition, which through its colors represents the wide diversity of Caribbean landscapes. Vol. 2 consists of a series of sculptural pieces in pigmented concrete, created with the use of artisan techniques and applying color with organic pigments.

The main materials used for these pieces are Portoro Gold marble from Samaná, Saman wood, and Coralina, they represent the diversity of materials found in our country. The raw materials used to manufacture these scuptural objects are responsibly sourced in the Dominican Republic. The pieces are manufactured using an innovative process that unites technology and craftsmanship. Each piece is hand-finished by skilled artisans, bringing out the natural beauty of the materials and emphasizing their unique characteristics.
